A commissioned linocut print, portraying a couple and their Norwegian cat. Several aspects of their lives are featured in this portrait as well: their spirit animals (little owl and donkey), their love for nature (Orange tree, chestnut tree, sunflowers), reading books and drinking coffee. A memory of watching the starry sky and seeing several falling stars has been incorporated as well, which is where the title “Vallende Sterren” (Dutch for Falling Stars) comes from.
The linocut measures about 30cm x 21cm, paper size is 35cm x 25cm.
